Grand Canyon from Lipan Point

There are many scenic overlooks along the East Rim Road in Grand Canyon National Park, but I found that the view from Lipan Point offered the best look at the Colorado River. There's a wonderful view of an s-curve in the Colorado River from this overlook. On this particular morning, the clouds were somewhat dispersed and allowed the sun to break through at a few spots, throwing nice highlights on the canyon floor and rim walls. This view of the canyon shows the s-curve, as well as the river continuing on through the canyon to the left side of the image.
