Winter Sunrise on San Juan Range
Ridgeway, CO

As I was driving back to Ouray, CO from Telluride one afternoon, I spotted this very interesting fence zig-zagging up the side of a hill in front Mt Sneffels out the window of my car. I made a mental note of the location and returned there the morning after a large snowfall hit the area. The location is just outside Ridgeway, CO. Although I couldn't put the fence and Mt Sneffels into context the way I had envisioned in my mind's eye, this scene presented itself just as I was about to call it quits. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to work in more of the fence but I think it's a pleasing composition just the same.
