Matcat Canyon

Matcat Canyon is a small side canyon off the Colorado River as it winds its way through Grand Canyon. I had the opportunity to visit this area during a recent rafting trip through Grand Canyon. There are many side canyons and beautiful hikes that can only be reached from the river so I highly recommend that the next time you visit Grand Canyon, get off the rim! Only a small percentage of the visitors to Grand Canyon ever make it off the rim so make yourself one of the lucky few!
