Cascade on Bishop Creek

I love the stream cascade scenes. This shot was taken along the South Fork of Bishop Creek along the road to South Lake near Bishop, California in the Owens Valley. It's not unusual to spot several fishermen along this road at just about any time of day. I hiked along a fisherman's path and climbed out onto the rocks to get this shot. I particularly liked the collection of leaves in the water and the rich color of the rocks. A slow shutter speed was used to create the silky effect of the water flowing over the rocks.
