Added 5/23/2006 - Grand Canyon Rafting trip
Well, I have returned from my great rafting adventure through the Grand Canyon and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. As I emerged from the canyon, back into "the world", I received some disturbing news about my family, but everything is working out and all are doing well. But, to my fellow Canyoneers', I want to give a heartfelt thank you to all of you for your concern and comforting words as we parted company. I have a rough gallery put together of some of the images I got on the trip. If anyone is interested in seeing them, please follow this link. The trip was definitely an experience I would recommend to everyone and the folks at Canyoneers are the best in the business. Many thanks to our steadfast crew - Jack, Todd and Ian - whose entertaining demeanor and great humor was only surpassed by their knowledge of the river and Grand Canyon. My father, brother and I owe you a debt of gratitude for making our epoch journey of rafting through Grand Canyon such a pleasurable and unforgettable experience.

Added 4/5/2006 - Grand Canyon and Northern Arizona Gallery Added
I've just returned from my trip to Northern Arizona, and it was a wonderful experience. Although the weather in Grand Canyon was somewhat gloomy the entire time I was there, I managed to grab some nice dramatic images of the canyon draped in clouds and mist. From there I traveled farther north into the Page area where I spent most of my time photographing the slot canyons. I cannot begin to describe in words the overwhelming beauty of the canyons around Page, AZ. Everywhere you turn you are bombarded with endless possibilities of compositions. It's hard to pick one and move on. I have the images from the trip loaded into a gallery for you to enjoy and place your print order online. Please take a look and feel free to forward on any comments you may have. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was unable to make it into Havasu Canyon. Perhaps on my return trip to Grand Canyon in May I will be able to make it in.

Added 1/22/2006 - No longer accepting PayPal
As of January 22, 2006, I will no longer be accepting PayPal payments. For the time being, during the ordering process, you will enter your credit card information on my secure site. I will then process the payment manually and email you a receipt within 24 hours. During times when I am traveling, this may take a little longer but will be done as soon as reasonably possible. In the future, I will be setting up an online processing system where the payment will be processed and a response sent immediately, but for now, I will use the manual process described above.

Added 1/18/2006 - Events Page Updated
I have updated my events and travel page for 2006. My Art Show schedule is still tentative at this point and more shows will be added to the list as I have time to get applications out, and hear back from shows that I have already applied to. I have also updated a tentative travel schedule. Most of the trips listed are definite. I will be taking most of the middle part of 2006 off from field travel as my wife and I welcome a new addition to the family in late June! I will update the events and travel page page as more travel plans are added or solidified.

Added 12/04/2005 - New Gallery Added!
I have added a new gallery to the site from my recent, but short, trip to the Canyon Country of Utah. My time has been fairly consumed by a commercial project the past six months so when a brief window of opportunity opened up to take a quick trip, I jumped on the chance. I chose the areas around Moab, Utah and enjoyed every minute of the quick trip. Although Mother Nature wasn't as cooperative as I hoped, I was still able to come back with some interesting images. I plan to return to the area at a better time of year in the near future to do more extensive work. You can check my events page to see when and where exactly I will be going. For now, please browse the images from this trip by following this link.

Added 6/12/2005 - New Galleries Added!
I have added two new galleries from my most recent trips: Owens Valley, California and Hilton Head Island. I have also completed a complete make-over of the ordering process and added framing as an option for most size prints. Click here for information on framing choices. Check out my frames page for the frame styles available. More images will likely be added to these new galleries as I have time to complete the editing of the images. Go to the galleries home page to visit these new galleries.

Added 6/7/2005 - Summerfair comes to an end
Summerfair was a huge success this year, in terms of the people I met and the things I learned. Summerfair marked my first major art show and while I still have quite a few kinks to work out of my system, I consider the show a great learning experience. Thanks to the fine artisans who stopped by and offered their advice for the future, especially the folks on either side of me without whom I could not have survived the weekend! Also wanted to express my deepest gratitude to all the visitors who stopped by the booth and commented on, or purchased, my images. You are the folks for whom I do these shows. You can check my events page to see where I will be appearing next... I try to keep the page as updated as possible. Thanks again to everyone from Summerfair. It was a lot of fun!

Added 5/25/2005 - New Images from Hilton Head Island
New images from my recent trip to Hilton head Island have been loaded for viewing only. The final cut images will be available for purchase by the end of June. Visit the temporary gallery here.

Added 4/28/2005 - New Images from the Eastern Sierras of California!
i have been having a wonderful time in California the past week and have some images I'd like to share. The images are just in a gallery format at the moment... they are not ready to be purchased as yet. I will be adding the images for sale in the near future but for now, you can start browsing the images! Click here to visit the galleries pages for these images.

Added 4/14/2005 - Print Sizes Adjusted
I have adjusted the size of some of my prints to allow for the full-frame image to be printed on the print. Previously, I offered 11x15 prints and 17x23 prints which were slightly cropped images, not full-frame. I have adjusted these sizes as follows: I now offer a 12x16 print which has an image size of 10x15, and I offer an 18x24 print which has an image size of 15.33x23. See the section on prints on my Info Page for more information on this change. The larger print size will remain the same, 24x32 print for a 20x30 image size, since it was already a full-frame print.

Added 4/14/2005 - D2X Update
I am still waiting on my new Nikon D2X. These things are in high demand and it is very difficult to get your hands on one at the moment. But, as soon as I have one and have field tested it, I will give you my thoughts and comments. For now, you can check Moose Peterson's web site for a well documented work up of the D2X.

Added 4/1/2005 - Prices Lowered!!
I have lowered prices on many sizes and paper choices in my gallery pages. I have switched to a new supplier with better prices than my previous supplier so I am passing these savings on to you. Some of the larger prints have been lowered as much as $50. Please browse the gallery section and investigate the lower prices!

Added 3/7/2005 - New Image Loaded in Misc Gallery
I have added an image from my recent trip to Ouray, Colorado in the Miscellaneous gallery. It was a somewhat disappointing trip, photographically, as weather conditions were not favorable. I did manage to get a few decent images and I will be loading them as I have time. The first is loaded in the miscellaneous gallery, a shot of a winter sunrise in the San Juan mountains surrounding the Ouray area. Click here to see the image!

Added 1/21/2005 - Expanded Site Functionality
I have now added the functionality to process orders in a more automated process. There is a full-featured shopping-cart on the site now, as well as the ability to make online payments via PayPal. Simply click the "Add to Cart" button after selecting the appropriate print options, then fill in a little information and click "Confirm Order". You will then be directed to the PayPal web site to complete your payment. You will be asked to create an account on PayPal, but this is optional. Once I receive confirmation of the payment, your order will be processed and shipped. Click here for more information on the new ordering process.

Added 1/20/2005 - The D2X is coming!!!
Nikon announced last week that it's new and eagerly awaited D2X 12.4MP Pro Digital SLR would begin shipping on February 25, 2005. The suggested street price on the new model will be $4999.99. Check out the full details on the Nikon web site, or look at it on B&H Photo's web site.

Added 1/4/2005 - New web site launched
Welcome to my new web site. It has been completely redesigned from the ground up! New features include better navigational structure, individual image pages with detailed descriptions, information on how to order prints, a page with information on upcoming art shows I will be participating in and redesigned gallery pages. Please check back often as more enhancements are planned for the near future.
